Peep my farewell tribute illustration to the show that entertained me since last fall,  American Horror Story: Season 3 - Coven ! Respekt to everyone responsible for bringing Angela Bassett and Jessica Lange together (and also Kathy Bates). Queen overload for real! We were not worthy. When they butted heads and came together, they especially reminded me of these two X-Ladies.  This one's inspired by their Entertainment Weekly cover. Hope y'all feel it! What the deal? Here's my piece for The Line It Is Drawn 157: Celebrating 50 Years of the Avengers and X-Men! Keith Alan Morgan suggested a Thor + Storm team-up so I took it as an opportunity to illustrate a romantic pairing I've wanted to see for a while. Figured I should go ahead and just do it muhself! They could be Marvel's power couple rivaling DC's Superman and Wonder Woman pairing, methinks. What say you?  Hope y'all digs!  Peace.

A new The Line It Is Drawn is up over at Comics Should Be Good! This week, we're serving comic book characters teamed-up and mashed-up with musicians. Can you guess whom I chose?  Storm's current costume in the comic books remains sadly generic so I chose to pay tribute to the amazing costume redesign by Beau Fornillos, aka popsyturvee . Check out Beau's redesign HERE .  I wish Storm's handlers adopted this look officially. I wish a lot of the pros would adopt the redesigns of emerging artists for the characters in need of updates. Nothing says "I truly care about my characters" than making sure they look modern and at their best. Remarkable quality fan-made redesigns invaded the web in the past few years alone and it's a crime they're being overlooked or not getting enough attention. I'm showing love whenever I come across 'em fo sho. Hope you digs my little animation! Peace.

Chris Bachalo's work from CURSE OF THE MUTANTS: STORM + GAMBIT made me wanna see how I'd draw Storm in her more widely used current costume. I took a couple liberties in terms of detailing and I came up with this take that I'm most happy with. Enjoy! Peace.
