Wonderfully Inspired

In light of the recent controversy, I was inspired to draw a Diana based on Jamal Campbell's gorgeous Wonder Woman redesign. Just a quickie my hand threw up. Peace.

Justice League Water Ski Show

Happy 4th of July, y'all! To celebrate, here's a variant of the Justice League Water Ski Show illustration that I drew for The Line It Is Drawn 145: How Do Superheroes Spend Their Summer Vacation? Here's the Pride version... Here's the 4th of July variant... It's more patriotic and less Crisis-y. Figured I'd cut the Justice League a real break this time. ;) I always wanted to draw my take on the Sea World Superheroes Water Ski Show. (Yup! It was a real thing!) Thanks to TLIID and suggestion-giver Bill Granderson , I finally got a chance to! For more on the history of the Sea World Superheroes Water Ski Show, check out author Marc Tyler Nobleman's wonderful and extensive research HERE . He also kindly wrote about my piece, which you can see HERE . Many thanks, Marc! Have fun and be safe, one and all! Peace.

The Final Stand

Here's my tribute to John Byrne's classic cover to X-MEN 137 , but, this time, featuring Superman & Wonder Woman in JUSTICE LEAGUE 137 . This was intended to be a part of The Line It Is Drawn 106: Comic Book Cover Homages , but I came across tablet problems with it becoming unresponsive so it was delivered a bit late. You can find the ninja post where it was featured HERE . Hope y'all digs! Peace.

Starrostruck

Here's a pencil drawing I did—an homage to the classic cover of The Brave and The Bold 28 —for my great buddy, Edward . He has a huge, almost unhealthy fixation for Starro, but like a good friend, I feed his need. Wait... I did the right thing, right...? Anyway... enjoy! Peace.

I'll Have Two Number Threes

That's right! It's the DC trinity vs. the fast food trinity... all in this week's The Line It Is Drawn over at Comics Should Be Good . Check out the awesomely good pieces (minus mine) that feature comic book superheroes and famous advertising mascots  HERE . Take 'em to-go! Peace.

I Really Like It Now

It's my first time messin' with the redesign. I didn't mind the change too much from the start, but when the jacket came off, I started really diggin' it! Here's a rough pass. Enjoy! Peace.

This Is Not A Protest

I don't mind the new Jim Lee WW redesign @ all. I just jumped on the redesign bandwagon that everyone else set off solely for fun. Enjoy! Peace.

I Better Populate This Place!

In a non-Bizarro World, Gail Simone woulda had her own team book by now and Ryan Choi, The All-New (and far more superior) Atom, would still be alive and well. This is how I think a DoMA comic book team would look like. SENSATION COMICS perhaps? Peace.

It's A Wonder!

So I'm back online, but I remain vigilant 'til the next time I royally lose my Internets. I wonder how long 'til it gives out again. lol! I knew I shouldn't have believed the maintenance tech guy that looked at my wiring. Harumph! To celebrate all the wonder I've been wondering... here's Wonder Woman! I did this for my wonderful friend's birthday! A different friend, FYI. Her name is Layne. I DO have more than one friend, you know. Sometimes. heheh WONDER WOMAN Pencils on Bristol 14x17 Peace.
