Gotham City Love

Here we go! This week's The Line It Is Drawn is up over at Comics Should Be Good! Topic of the week is comic book cover homages! I didn't hesitate to choose the Astonishing X-Men 6 cover, but with The Question and Batwoman. I love these characters so much, I had to represent for them. What I did hesitate with was to put the trade dress on. hahah No more! Here, I present the image with its logos and such. Check out the undressed version HERE and show some love for the artists who knocked it outta the park with their pieces. Better and better!!

Peace.

Again I give due credit to you and Arn for clowning my logo-less, naked version. hahah My homies keep it REAL!

I'm truly honored you have a favorite thing from me. Thanks for the non-stop support, big mang!

Most definitely! It'll go right up there with my first reactions and constant returns to the Kid Flash and Superboy pics from a year or so ago. Those two still hold a huge top spot, but this just shift right up into it with them! Great work again, logos or not!

Do you ever sell your pieces for The Line It Is Drawn? Curious how much you might charge for this. You can email me at my username at gmail.

I'll shoot you an e-mail later tonight, Josh! Thanks!

hahah Glad you like it, Layne.

Thanks so much, Tammy! I'll give Josh first crack at it as this piece was his very brilliant idea.

Thanks Tammy, especially for not starting a bidding war with me!

mic?, I was able to send money today. Thanks for agreeing to part with your sketch! I had a pretty good suggestion for next week's theme. I hope you get a crack at it!

Thanks, Tammy! I hope we find something else that you might like to own from me eventually. Please stay tuned! Pleasure to have you here.

Thanks, Josh! This will be on its way to you starting in the morning.

I can't wait for us to receive the list for next week's theme! We all go in blind without knowing who suggests what to give everyone a sporting chance. I hope to get a crack at more of your ideas! If this piece was any indication, I think we're on the same/similar wavelength when it comes to taste. So far, so good!

Enjoy the rest of the week, everyone!

Peace.

Everyone's so nice here; I'll definitely stick around. And for the art too, mic?, which is awesome.

Enjoy the piece, Josh, and keep coming up with those ideas. I promise never to go to war with you. Ugh, who likes war?

Not me! :]

I highly recommend contributing suggestions over at CSBG's Twitter to everyone. It's fun! I wish I can! hahah

Peace.

Help Her Win

Hello from the future-present! This was originally intended to be a xeet/tweet with a very specific target audience, but it quickly erupted into something I couldn't contain in such a limited number of characters. Cutting right to the chase.

Dream A Little Dream

DC Relaunch for you! DC Relaunch for you! Everybody gets a Relaunch! Oh, I wish. And I'm not alone. This week for the The Line It Is Drawn over at Comics Should Be Good , we're celebrating DC's exciting September Relaunch! And we're doing it by having made first issue covers of DC-based titles re/imagined by our faithful readers and art appreciators. Naturally, I chose one of my dream gigs and teamed it with one of the best and, incidentally, one of the coolest writers in comics, Gail Simone . Check out my piece and those of The Line giants  HERE . Thank goodness a guy can still dream. Long Live Ryan Choi! (Here's one of my early chicken-scratch roughs for the redesign....) Peace.
