Alternative Press Expo 2014

It's been a long time coming... so come check out my first convention appearance behind a table!

Alternative Press Expo (APE)
October 4-5, 2014
Festival Pavilion @ Fort Mason Center
2 Marina Blvd.
San Francisco, CA 94123
Table 606B

I'll have several con-exclusive prints for sale! I'm still narrowing down which I'll go with so please feel free to offer suggestions on which of my illustrations you'd be interested in purchasing.

I'll show off pages from my forthcoming self-published comic anthology entitled TATLO. I'm arting, writing, lettering, designing... doing it all solo on this one so it's taking some time to finish.

I'm also opening myself up for pre-show commissions with discounted Traditional prices for APE attendees who'll be able to pick up during the event!

Traditional 1
One character $40
9"x12"

Traditional 2
Two characters $75
9"x12"

Email me at micQuestion at micQuestion dot com for more details and/or to get on my list. If I don't reply within a day, please leave a comment below.

I'm not planning on doing any commissions during the show for this one, so I can focus on interacting with visitors. Depending on demand, though, and how quiet it may be for me, I might do one or two impromptu commissions so don't hesitate to ask if I have a secret ninja menu!

Looking forward to meet you in person! Thanks always for the love and support!

Peace.

Your Question/Chicago drawing from a previous Line It is Drawn would make a fine print, IMO.
Also, that comic anthology from you better be available to buy on this site and ship overseas ;).

The Gotham/Chicago piece will definitely be made into a print!

I'll make the comic accessible for purchase around the world in at least digital form. You'll have dibs if I do a short print run of it. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, Arn! Much appreciated!

Peace.

Help Her Win

Hello from the future-present! This was originally intended to be a xeet/tweet with a very specific target audience, but it quickly erupted into something I couldn't contain in such a limited number of characters. Cutting right to the chase.

Dream A Little Dream

DC Relaunch for you! DC Relaunch for you! Everybody gets a Relaunch! Oh, I wish. And I'm not alone. This week for the The Line It Is Drawn over at Comics Should Be Good , we're celebrating DC's exciting September Relaunch! And we're doing it by having made first issue covers of DC-based titles re/imagined by our faithful readers and art appreciators. Naturally, I chose one of my dream gigs and teamed it with one of the best and, incidentally, one of the coolest writers in comics, Gail Simone . Check out my piece and those of The Line giants  HERE . Thank goodness a guy can still dream. Long Live Ryan Choi! (Here's one of my early chicken-scratch roughs for the redesign....) Peace.
